Everyone of us has a question in our mind ''Why we fail?'' and after that question we try to solve this question by having an other question ''How to get rid of failing?'' We try we fail then we again try we fail again and this story continues...
Let me tell that: If you are going to march in the battle field without the proper troops, supplies, ammunition and staying power, you will return home defeated. It is as simple as that. It is not enough to occupy a territory. You have be able to keep it.
Grant Cardone is a successful entrepreneur shares his story of success in his own book The 10X Rule in which he describes that when he stared his first company he was of 29. He assumed he will be able to earn money same like his current job at that time. But he came to realize that it took three years to him to reaching that level of income which he was earning from his job at time. At time he started cursing him and wanted to quit by saying ''I can't do this anymore, I'm done''. He then explained that he actually he miscalculated the efforts he need to make something happen.
A person how limits his or her potential, success will limit what he or she will do to create it and keep it.
When you underestimated the time, energy and effort to do something you will have Quit in your mind, voice, posture, face and presentation. You won't develop the persistence necessary to get tour mission accomplished. However, when you correctly estimated the effort you will assume proper posture. The marketplace will sense your action that you are force to be reckoned with and are not going away and it will begin to respond accordingly.
Then he makes a twist in his story of success by applying a simple logic. It is quite very simple to be successful by having this simple rule in your life. Just get rid of miscalculating of time, energy and quantity of work. This is only possible in a simple way that when you reduce the result of the target by 10X and increase the effort for this work by 10X. It simply means first of all set a target of high level then calculate the result of that target and remove 10% of that and then calculate the effort for your assumed result and add 10% to it to get best possible results.
Target is never the problem.
Most people including managers' first response is to reduce targets and increase their efforts because they know that:
Any Target attacked with the right actions in the right amounts with persistence is attainable.We are just to try hard to meet our targets. Remember if your product cost nothing to make and it's 100 times superior to its closest competitor then you should be comfortable for this product and then you should work 10 times extra to make your product better then that of your competitor.
It never means that you should reduce the level of your thoughts it only means that you are to multiply your expectations by 10 and be ready for result by dividing 10 and the most important thing is that multiply your struggle by 10.
Never reduce a target. instead,Increase actions.Pretend you are being recorded as a model by which your children and grandchildren will learn how to succeed in life. Always remember to follow through completely: That is great common denominator of all winners. They see every actions through to completion. Make no excuses and addopt a "in-it-to-win-it-whatever-it-takes" mind set. Sound too aggressive? But sorry that is the outlook required to win nowadays.
Regardless of which degree of action you operate in, they all acquire work in their own ways.
